Best value-for-the-money pottery studio in Utah Valley by a wide margin. You can book a wheel for two people and each get to throw something you can keep for $25, which is less than half of what some other places are charging. We took a youth group of 10 girls to do pottery, and they have not stopped talking about how fun it was. Throw Art was incredibly accommodating and the instruction was excellent. I can't remember the name of the lady who taught us (I think it may have been Abby?), but she did a great job and was very patient with our (increasingly rambunctious) 12 and 13 year old girls. Every one of them was able to successfully throw a bowl or vase, and they absolutely loved the thrill of getting to use a butane torch at a youth activity. I will be recommending Throw to anyone looking for a fun and hands-on date or family activity. If you live in or around Provo, don't sleep on this gem!

Stunning !! Super enjoyed the pottery class. I went there on a date and the whole night was awesome. The throw people were very kind and helpful in giving tips. I made better pottery here than any other studio I have been to. The ambience? Also great. K and one more thing.. I had commented that I loved one of the mugs on my way out. The kind worker was like “Hey do you want it? I made it last week!” And I was SO STOKED. Seriously lovely evening.

We took the beginner 1.5 hour class with Mel and had a so much fun! Mel did a great job explaining what to do and was on top of helping everyone in our very full class. We’d definitely go back

Kayla was an awesome instructor, and super patient with our group as we struggled through the basics. This place is incredible, reasonably priced, and great for friend or romantic dates!

This place was so much fun! We were late but the friendly people didn’t make a big deal about it. They were friendly and patient with us. The set up for the class was easy to follow and the price was decent. I liked that we got to use the torch and some stamps too. It was also nice that it was for all ages so my 12 year old son got to participate with us. We will come again!

Throw was so fun!! Abby was a fantastic teacher and helped us all along the way. Definitely make sure she’s being paid well because she is the best!!!
