Unprofessional, unresponsive, and withholding my money

I purchased a painting from this gallery, intending to leave it in their care. I paid 8 out of 10 installments in good faith, trusting they would deliver on what they’d told me in person. However, when I asked for clarification on terms—such as fees for keeping it in the collection, the fairs where they said it would be shown, and a formal contract—Alessandra couldn’t commit to what she had initially promised verbally. She knew I don’t live in Miami and was buying this as an investment, something I’ve done with many galleries before, without issue.

Realizing they wouldn’t be able to deliver on their word, I requested a refund, which Alessandra agreed to provide minus transaction fees. Nobody pays 8 installments on something if they’re not serious about moving forward. Despite this, I’ve yet to receive a satisfactory response or refund, and communication has stopped altogether.

After receiving no response, I involved my bank, hoping to get a refund, but even they couldn’t assist due to the gallery’s lack of transparency and documentation. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and feels like bad faith. If you’re considering doing business with them, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing before making any payments. My experience has shown a serious lack of transparency and accountability.

This gallery is a true gem, showcasing a diverse range of local and Latin American artists of the highest caliber along with high end designer furnishings and unique fashion pieces.

The location is perfect, nestled between the design district and Wynwood. An amazing space to host a dinner or an event.

The exterior of the building is a work of art itself, adorned with breathtaking murals by renowned artist Enivo, Mundano and Eduardo Kobra.

The standout Mona Lisa mural by Kobra adds an iconic touch to the surroundings. The large turfed lawn has gourmet food trucks and a pop up container that showcases fashion and artistic pieces and designs.

The House offers an exceptional blend of culture, creativity and community.
