Motel correct un peu cher cependant
Restaurant bar accueillant mais le TBone steak a eu du mal à passer. Une entrecôte ? Avec un os au milieu? Loin du t Bone new-yorkais. Le goût était spécial et il nous est resté sur l'estomac.
Ce n'était pas du bœuf en tout cas!!!
Si c'était autre chose que du steak de bœuf ( du kangourou vraisemblablement) encore faudrait-ik l"afficher le dire clairement !
Le goût fort a gâché notre premier dîner dans le centre Rouge ...
On ne m'y reprendra plus...

As we are tourists to the area we sent off an email to the Ghan servo re alcohol and food supplies. Received an email back answering our questions which was great. They have a small convenience type shop and takeway alcohol is available from 2pm.

We arrived at 3pm, sign on bar entrance said open at 12pm, door was locked. Went around to the next door which said bar open at 4pm door also locked.

Went into the servo and asked what the story was, guy went off to check. Response, takeaway alcohol is only for guests, huh? thats not what the email said ?

Prices in servo are extreme to say the least. Yes we are aware they are remote, however stop in at Marla roadhouse.

It was the most expensive fuel in NT! Cheaper fuel in any other direction from there, decent food and coffee inside. Good service if you manage to avoid all the tour groups that stop there. Good toilet facilities.

I don't really care if the station is good or not, but you'll always remember it. Like oasis in the middle of nowhere. And you can feed the emu 🙂

Clean park with drive through parking. Showers need a good scrub, first night couldn't turn cold Water tap on in the shower so lucky I didn't get burnt. Lights didn't come on so had a shower in the dark.
