RE/MAX and Terry Lockett took over as property management for our home a few months ago and they are the best we've had! We had colonial and sunburst realty prior and they were rough. Lockett within a WEEK of taking over fixed things we had asked for help with for years like our dangerous tree in the back looming over the power lines. Not only that, they sent out kind Christmas cards with mini calendars, personally came out to each property to drop off spicket covers before the freeze, and to top it off are now getting somebody to come spray insulation in some of the older homes( like our duplex) to help with high electricity bills. I don't leave bad reviews, only good ones where they are deserved and these guys have integrity, thankyou for looking out and doing the most for the people when nobody else is.

Terry Lockett showed me & my uncle a property, we payed $60 in total for application fees. The application stated that they would run our credit and call our references. Neither mine nor my uncles credit was ran. When we applied he said that he would contact me in 2 days. After 2 days I had to call Terry myself to ask him for the status of my application, to which he replied “Uhh the owner denied your application, I don’t know why.” Unacceptable and unprofessional. We would love our money back.

- In regards to Remax’s response below, I’m confused as to who you think you are to tell me that my phone call with Terry went any other way then as I stated. I understand wanting to save face but that’s just insane.

This would have been our 2nd time working with this agent as we try to stay loyal to one agent who sold us our 1st home despite many signs of unprofessionalism and red flags. Ended up doing all the search and found the home ourselves. For the 2nd purchase we scheduled a professional cleaning around the agent's schedule only to be notified via email that this agent did not have the ability to sell our home after the cleaning. Many other red flags such as trying to force us to schedule an unprofessional staging session. The stager texted me the seller unprofessional remarks when the agent told her we would not be able to adjust with the stagers timeframe this week under short notice. This realtor insisted on listing my home 20-30,000 below its market value against our request. Ultimately used another remax realtor in Waco area much better and sold our house 1st weekend on market for over our asking price.

Chris Lockett has been out relator through both buying and selling. He helped us buy our home and sold it for us 3 years later, then helped us purchase our second home. Currently we are in the process of putting our house on the market and looking to buy another, I wouldn't use anyone else but Chris. He is an amazing relator, very personal and will work with you no matter how ridiculous your home needs may be.
