We were novices when we decided to sell our home and one of their associates petitioned us hard to list our house. We expected guidance thru the selling process and did not receive it. We expected them to make recommendations that would sell our home faster- they did not provide it. We expected them to explain the different kind of loans that buyers would use and the pitfalls with each; we accepted an offer from a buyer with a VA loan and were blind-sided by the VA appraisal and subsequent reduction in value that entailed. They did list our house and it sold due to the desirable location, not because of their efforts; they did not even show the house to buyers..
