I completed the Transitions course roughly 10 years ago, with a view to initially training as a counsellor, with this organisation, and perhaps later a psychotherapist. I then left the UK for 8 years and took a different path. I just looked them up and saw some negative reviews so wanted to add my own, very positive review. The Transitions course alone changed my life. I felt love and compassion throughout the course that I can only compare to that experienced with entirely unrelated/unendorsed, therapy assisted by the use of certain non-mainstream medicines. The course was not easy though, it was emotionally very intense, but I felt safe and cared for throughout. What I’m trying to say is that Re-Vision can offer profound healing through profound compassion, love, and care. It’s been a long time since my Transitions course but I have worked extensively with a psychotherapist who trained here, and over time with quite a few trained elsewhere, in different modes etc. My experience, shared not to discount the experience of those who’ve left bad reviews, but just to relate that my own experience has been the very best. Thank you 🙏🏻

This is one of the very best training establishments you will find. The person who had to cancel their transitions course was unfortunate. But cancellations cannot be refunded at the last minute and this is the case for the vast majority of responsible business and service providers including private practitioners. Good counselling and therapy is not just about being compassionate and understanding. It’s also about maintaining healthy boundaries.

From my academic point of view, it is not worth the money. Therfore one can get a scientifically proven and! valued degree. So for me: I know where I would invest my money. My report is based on the experience of a close friend, who was there.

I had to cancel the Transitions course due to emergency and this place failed to offer me substitute for the course and did not even refund my money. How on earth people who are dealing with Counselling and people concentrating on feelings can treat people like this? Truly disappointing. Shame on you!

Probably one of the most powerful programs at the beginning the journey of understanding myself.

I did not find this training objective. I found the overly-experiential approach where one is forced to 're-enact' their inner child (eg by group rituals) as rather infantilising, and in my opinion creates a cultish feel to the training. For me, I would rather have a training based on set objectivity rather than forced catharsis, or regression into wishy washy 'inner child' poetical themes (which is not for everyone). The training does not encourage people to think critically and for themselves, and there is too much similarity in group ideology that results. The training does not value differences in approaches nor individuals where they might not fit into this approach. The organisation is not receptive to negative feedback. Trainees are often asked to provide feedback as part of their assessment before trainers allow them to complete the course (rather than after the training has finished), which in my opinion is not objective and skews the feedback to the organisation. I appreciate this training might suit others. However I would not recommend this training and it was a waste of time and money.
