Whatever you do don’t go to Sylvia’s line she is the most disrespectful person there. I was shopping and I had heavy items like soda’s and waters she tells me I have to put it on the belt I said “can’t you just scan it with your gun” she say continues to argue with me and tells me “i come from the ghetto” all because she was mad and mind you I am African American which was totally racist talk to the manger and the manager just tried to defend her saying she’s not racist I told her she may not be racist but what she said was racist.

This is hands down the most incompetently managed Ralphs in the area. The store is a disaster, shelves are empty, it’s always a mess, and the staff is stretched so thin it’s embarrassing. The self-checkout lines are an absolute joke, regularly stretching 25+ people deep, making this place feel like a third-world ration line.

Kevin Fisher, as the so-called manager, this disaster is on you. Either fix it or step down because you are clearly out of your depth. Closing all registers and forcing customers into self-checkout at 8:30 PM, the busiest time for working people, is beyond negligent. But of course, it looks like you clock out at 5 PM and leave your overwhelmed team to deal with the angry mob. That’s not leadership.

If this is your idea of retail management, you need to go back to school because whatever you learned (if anything) isn’t working. This store is a disgrace, and it’s on you.

I visited my local Ralph’s (that I go to at least 3x a week). When we left there was grocery bag was left behind that the bagger did not place in my cart. I got home to realize it and drove back to the Ralph’s to ask if I left my bag there. I approached Sylvia the cashier and asked her if my bag was there (since you know that was the same lane I used on my prior visit). I told her that the bag included breakfast pork sausages and other items. I did not have my receipt with me and I wasn’t sure what other items I had in there at the moment so she said she couldn’t help me since I didn’t know the other items. I pleaded with her and asked her why, I didn’t think there would be others at that same location at that very moment that had forgotten their breakfast sausages. She brushed me off and told me to talk to Maria. When I walked over to Maria and asked her if she was the manager she said she was one of them. By that time my wife had sent me a photo of the receipt and I provided her the receipt. She said she was too busy to help me and that she didn’t see the items I purchased on the receipt. She didn’t see them because she not once bothered to look (even after she required the receipt to release my bag they didn’t give me originally). I requested to speak to the upper manager Sean. I explained to him the situation and he said that it was policy they asked for a receipt. My question is why did they not want to help me and give me my groceries when I provided what they asked me for. They made me feel as if they were discriminating based on my looks and I was attempting to steal for something I paid. I am going straight to corporate and hope that this store gets the proper training they need. Additionally they had what appeared to be a minor child about 8years old at the cash register. Will be seeking additional support from CA Consumer Affairs, Division of Labor and Standards and the CA Law of Industrial Relations. I just came to pick up the bag they didn’t not give me and experienced all this non sense from them.

My first visit to this store on October 23, 2024 was mixed. I was treated very well by the deli staff and the attendant at the self checkout. But don't look white and try to sit outside while waiting for a ride. I was told to leave by a front end employee. I was not doing anything illegal. I don't need to explain myself to any employees. No one talked to me, he rudely demanded that I leave while ignoring the two black men begging for change. When I complained to the managers, Sean and Maria, they only said that they would talk to him. They didn't take me seriously and treated me like l have never been to a Ralph's before. As l was walking away they were nasty and said "Have a good day! God bless you!" Thinking that would make me angry. GOD doesn't like ugly and will teach them a lesson.

Not handicapped friendly..cluttered aisles, difficult to maneuver handicapped carts..often out of stock of many items..management not open to ideas and difficult to speak with. Gave 3 stars, one for being a store, one for long opening hours and one for a few good employees !!

Cheap and convenient. I drive out of my way to come here since the Target way closer to me closed their self-checkout. Don’t have time for that for a few things. Still annoying there are no baskets though.

Even though this Ralph's is close to me, I still prefer going to the Vons that is farther away because the aisles here are narrow, categorization of items don't make sense, and the people who frequent this place are sometimes a little suspicious.

This store is often low stock/out of items that I normally wouldn't have a difficult time finding at other grocers. Again, it would help if items of the same category weren't split up into separate aisles that you have to scavenge for.

I don't recommend coming here outside of daylight hours. Have transitioned from trying to shop here to just doing grocery pickup/delivery because I just can't have an enjoyable experience. It is something about the environment of this store and the types of people in it.
