There is limited parking for all business owners on this strip. Paper Arts owners are extremely rude to their neighboring business owners and their neighboring business owners’ customers, especially regarding parking.

This business has been under construction since November 3, 2023. And instead of making a compromise for parking, the Paper Arts owners had made the limite parking even worse. They scream, shout and make racist comments to the customers of the mechanic shop and barber shop on neighboring sides.

This is completely underwhelming because the customer volume is at a high uptempo for those businesses considering that Peak is a major street for DART headquarters and zoning from East Dallas to Uptown.

I have reported this experience to the City of Dallas and the BBB regarding restricted parking by Paper Arts owners, especially while the business is closed, and regarding the unethical and mistreated of customers that are paying for services at the neighboring businesses that are open.

I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING SHOPPING OR EVEN VISITING THIS PLACE TO “GO THE OTHER DIRECTION”.

BAD OWNERS THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS BAD!!!!

Owner has a very hidden tow sign, and nobody is usually ever there, and there is a limited amount of spots in a very crowded road. I had parked my car for 2 seconds before some old miserable looking guy comes and threatens too tow my car?. When in reality he wouldn’t tow anything he would just make a phone call like a baby and have another man burn his time and energy too tow my vehicle. I don’t think any business owner should act this way, and I believe there are more appropriate ways too handle the situation. Making your sign visible for one is a damn good start.

A really first-class retailer and supplier of materials and advice to Dallas artists and printmakers. I have found the proprietor to be very kind and eager to be of help to the student and to the advanced painter and printmaker. Delighted that they are in Dallas offering some products unique in this market.

every time i go, the store is closed. the one time i went and i saw they were open i got out of my car and a woman popped her head out the business door and told me if i really needed to buy something because they were under construction. how is this business: 1. still under construction? 2. able to stay afloat by turning customers away?

The owner is rude. Over a parking spot and to be closed. I Was there for max 10 minutes to deliver cake right next door to a party. She came out her shop screaming. I apologized and said I had to deliver this cake (that I was standing in 102° weather) and there was no where else to park I couldn’t park in the street.. I was just so excited that I found that place and was going to come back….. not after how she treated me.

Such a wonderful experience. I walked in with minutes to spare before closing time and a difficult question and was met with lots of useful information - stories - and a feeling of being welcomed into a favorite place. The papers are luscious. I can't wait to go back and spend more time (and a few more dollars)!

Not even a one star. Extremely rude. I was about to go check out the store pulled up with my brother wasn’t even outside 2 minutes before she told my sister about the parking. Continued to take out her phone and take pictures of the vehicle all while I was on Google looking to see before I went in. Paper looked cool but definitely wouldn't consider coming here just from that treatment. ? sorry lady that's not how you get customers. No wonder why your store is so dead. Never coming back . Taking pics of cars like that ?‍♀️.

The woman who runs this store is very rude and took a picture of our car because we didn't see the sign about the parking space. The store was closed and we did double check Google to be sure. The parking lot is small and there are other establishments sharing it. She claimed that there were 7 labeled spaces but we only saw 3. When we tried to explain that we didn't see the sign. This woman was incredibly disrespectful even as we were preparing to move the car. I was a potential customer with interest in buying my supplies from here. I would have gone in if it didn't say that the store was CLOSED. All in all not a person I would give money to.
