Was worth it because of the awesome tour we got, which wasn’t extra after the entrance cost. Definitely worth trying to time it up to do a tour. However, hard to have a museum with an entrance fee when there are so many free art museums within a few blocks. Maybe just stop into their gift shop, and get a $1 piece of art from their vending machine!

Very good art museum, small, quite, but have rich collection. I really like the architecture style in lobby, the museum have various art style, from classic paintings to modern art works. A tour guider wait in the lobby, so you’re free to join the 45 minutes guided tour. The 2rd and 5th floor are closed, the fourth floor is library, so is only 1st and 3rd floor have exhibition contents. Overall it’s a good place to spend your afternoon time, but is not necessary to drive here just to see the museum.

Omg this is beautiful from top to bottom! Admission is $16 for adults and they have discounts for Maryland residents. You don’t need to buy tixs in advance. There was no wait on Thursday afternoon.

Number one, the foyer is immaculate.
Number two, the many art styles spread across all floors were STUNNING
Number three, the gift shop had local art from artists and mostly women owned brands.

My only complaint, I wish there was more. I spent about 2 hours here walking slowly, taking everything in. The exhibits on view were:
Suchitra Mattai: Myth from Matter
Remix: the collection
And many other artists on permanent floors

This museum did a wonderful job showing art from all walks of life like sculptures, to paintings, photographs and etc. I loved and was in awe every second of being here.

The staff, all women, were very friendly and kind.

This place is wheelchair accessible. There are elevators and ramps in the building.

It is great for all ages!
Go check this place out!

An art museum that recognizing women's contributions to the arts. A must see.

Yes there is an entry fee. Yes the museum is on the smaller side. Please support this museums mission to highlight centuries of women that the art world has mostly been indifferent too or purposefully ignored.

We had an amazing experience at the museum with our family. The kids, all under 10, had a wonderful time. Shannon, who works there, took the time to show them around and gave them a great background on the art pieces. They were so engaged and really listened to her. It was truly meaningful for all of us, and we'd like to thank her for making our visit special.

Had a great experience visiting this museum. We went on a Sunday, and it was community day. So we got to enter the museum for free. The museum is 4 floors.
