Such a wonderful part of Arlington! The art on display is contemporary and very interesting to view. Their classes are excellent! I took a drawing class this spring and the instructor, Melanie, was fantastic. I am not a natural at drawing but Melanie made it manageable while still challenging us. She was able to adapt really well to moving virtually the last couple of classes due to the pandemic, and I don’t think it diminished the experience.

Just saw the exhibit “Assembly 2022: Time and Attention” and I was blown away. I went in with high expectations and it somehow exceeded them. The pieces were all so thoughtful and thought-provoking, and taken together tell an incredible story of what ideas and questions we’re grappling with as a society. This is the kind of quality that is going to put Arlington on the map for arts lovers across the country.

It was definitely an interesting museum. It’s kinda small but it has some very interesting pieces. I gather exhibits rotate out because nothing i saw in other pictures/Reviews was still there as far as I know. However then again part of it was closed off when I went due to a summer camp field trip or something like that. Still was an interesting museum and intriguing to see what’s actually in this building which I have walked or otherwise gone past many times in my life. I might even come back someday if my artsy girlfriend thinks it sounds fun.

There were more than a couple of very interesting pieces. However, the over focus on the documentary about the local zip code and its personalities stole from the event's potential thunder.

Small, but great quality place!

There are always interesting exhibits on display here. This is a small space, so you get very close to the pieces. The Tiffany room also displays beautiful L C Tiffany stained glass windows from Arlington house.

Professional artists have studios here, too.

Finally, the kids art themes day camps offered here generally get the kids involved with and building on the current exhibits with guidance by great staff

Amazing contemporary art that's free to view the four shows a year plus art on the lawn. Top quality art classes for all ages. A home for 12 outstanding artists with affordable studio space. At Virginia Square with free parking. There's a lot to like here.

Very glad that this gem of a place exists in our community. My boyfriend and I like coming when the installations change over and are always impressed with what's going on in here. I am not a parent, but it seems like they have great programs for kids/younger artists, too. Thanks for existing, Arlington Arts Center!
