Art gallery in a historical building they had the kids art work on display very cool place which also sells some hand made pieces. Small place with art that brings this place to life.

What a fantastic space, and a wonderful group of people to work with. I held a party there and it couldn’t have gone better. The staff was so kind, easy to work with and very accommodating. The space was superb and it was just great. Thank you so much for making the party a smashing success!

McCORD ART GALLERY is a gem located in Palos Park IL. A historical Italian farmhouse gifted to the community for the purpose of rendering arts by means of classes, lessons and programs. A new addition recently added serves more space for larger classes and other activities. I have been taking art classes here for many years and each teacher is magnificent in their application and desire to enrich the students they serve. Student recent works and artists alike display their unique sense of style on the walls of McCORD ART GALLERY. Fund raisers are held periodically to sustain the gallery and its services by means of gala dinners, shows, garage sales and a lovely McCord Christmas Shoppe where students are encouraged to participate in the sales of their works. My experiences have always been positive, I have learned many techniques to hone my skills and have tried new applications where otherwise would not be available to me. The teachers talented and professional always willing to encourage students to achieve more than they expected possible. Classes available include but are not limited to the mediums of painting with oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite & colored pencil. I wholeheartedly enjoy having McCORD ART GALLERY available in my community and recommend to those who enjoy the arts and music.

McCord Gallery and Cultural Center is the Jewel gallery in the Southwest community. Our Spring program is “Celebrating the Emerald Isle. There will be a juried art show, a wonderful program featuring Paddy Homan and the Noble Call on Saturday, March 2nd at 4:00pm - and a lovely Traditional Irish Tea on Sunday, April 14th with Leslie Goddard portraying Grace Kelly at 1:30- $35.00.
