What a gem of a store!!! You simply must stop by!!! The store has a little bit of everything. Local artisans such as ceramics, jewelry, glass, cards and many other items- you will for sure find something special! Lots of unique other gifts, too, such as a paint it yourself shadow box. And their book selection is exquisite - I could have bought something in each section, and had to content myself with picking two. The ladies in the store were welcoming, friendly and just so lovely all around. The art gallery part is also beautiful! My only regret is that I have not stopped by there sooner! I will be back for sure!

Bluerock is my favourite art gallery! Such a variety of paintings, pottery, and other crafts, mostly done by local artists, I believe. They also sell cards, books, and other things. The fact that it's located in such a fun, quaint town is a bonus. The drive out to Diamond Valley is very scenic. Check it out, and then treat yourself to ice cream or something afterwards.

I had a lovely time yesterday afternoon exploring all the amazing paintings, pottery, glassworks and more in Bluerock Gallery. I purchased a wonderful painting that I had been looking at online for awhile - it is even nicer in real life! The new mug I bought enhanced my morning coffee too!

If you are in southern Alberta you have to stop in at the Bluerock Gallery. This gallery/bookstore/gift shop is located half an hour south of Calgary on the Cowboy Trail. There is a large selection of Canadian authors. I was impressed to see a specific section for First Nation books. The store carries pottery from local artists. The staff are friendly and helpful. I bought some books for my grandson, but I will be back to look for something for me!

Amazing selection of books, pottery, original artwork. A treasure of Alberta creativity! Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Worth a visit! Plus there's an excellent Vietnamese restaurant around the corner.
