Blue Dragon checked off all the things we wanted in a taekwondo school, and more. We knew what we wanted and what we didn't want in a school - it was no to a franchise, multiple schools, or commercial brand named school, etc. Yes to Owner/instructor who is there and is either teaching the class or engaged with the kids/parents. Importantly, focus on overall development not just pushing students up belt levels whether they are ready or not. We did our due diligence, looked at various schools, and the reviews. Master Jimmy, Ms. Lisa, Sir Chris, are all phenomenal. Ms. Jeanine and Ms. Mary, also part of the team, are amazing as well - their kids often assist with the little ones which gives the younger ones insight on what they can achieve. They are all there to help develop/guide the kids into the best versions of themselves.

Our daughter was a few months shy of her 4th birthday when we enrolled her 3 yrs ago. Blue Dragon has been a big part of her growth, not just in belt advancement. They balance fun with discipline with the Lil Dragons (ages 4-7). For Master Jimmy and his team, it's not just about learning self-defense, or being physically fit - more importantly it's about character development, discipline of mind/body, building confidence, setting goal(s) and working towards it, and to overall be a good human being.

Blue Dragon is a great place for kids/adults. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Blue Dragon Martial Arts has effectively improved my son's confidence and physical ability. Through over a year of training, he has become faster and stronger. The staff is attentive and keeps the students focused. The students can rise through the belt levels only when they are ready. There is no rushing here. The staff also foster teamwork and bonds among the children. Blue Dragon is a wonderful place for students to learn Taekwondo.

My son has been taking Taekwondo with Master Jimmy, Sir Kris, and Ms. Lisa a month before he turned 3 years old. He is turning 6 in November. He was one of the 2 children that formed the Lil’ Dragons program. At first I was skeptical to have him start so young, because he was timid and gentle.

Almost 3 years later, he has become more disciplined, confident, focused, respectful, and determined. He has learned to be more competitive, motivated, and strive to do better with every class. He had gained strength, agility, and balance.

The instructors are friendly, and wonderful with the students. Whether your 3 years old,60+, or have a disability, Master Jimmy, and we will welcome you to our BDMA family. There is a program for everyone. There is Taekwondo, boot camp, strength training, self defense, etc.

My son loves Taekwondo, and I highly recommend Blue Dragon Martial Arts! We are a big happy family.

Don’t look any further! This is the best Taekwondo School for you. We have been with Blue Dragon Martial Arts since 2009. Master James Hsu, Miss Lisa and Sir Chris are the friendliest most amazing instructors. Not to mention, perfect mentor for your children. My son goes to Blue Dragons for several years now. I did not attend most of his practices through those years (unfortunately) , but today I came to see his belt testing. I was so impressed by not only my son's performance, I was impressed by the all students that I saw today. Master Jimmy, Ms. Lisa and Sir Chris are outstanding mentors, that teach students not only how to protect them selves and respect others, they also teach them to be responsible, with good manners and how to use common sense in life. I would like to THANK them for being a part of my son's life!

Our son wanted to start martial arts training and a quick google search around the area showed three around where we lived. I decided to call around to all three and Master Jimmy was the only one who took time to answer our questions. We signed up for a weekly trial and never looked back, signing up for a six month contract right after. Unfortunately we are in the process of moving or we would still have our son enrolled here. We couldn’t believe the difference we saw in our son after he started taking classes here. He’s gain confidence in himself and his abilities. The instructors here will nurture your kids and allow them to see the best in themselves. We couldn’t have ask for a better experience. We will miss their guidance. I suggest you give it a try, even for a week and you will see first hand the great experience it will be.
