This place feels good to walk around in, bright lights and a big space with hand-made signs. I came in to check prices compared to online options, and ended up purchasing supplies at the store due to their sales. Definitely less expensive to come here than order online.

Employees are helpful but they don’t bother you as you take your time browsing, which was awesome. I didn’t feel pressured to hurry up.

They customize frames - if you get a 13x19 print framed with 2” matting, UV protected glass, archival and with a thin black frame, it’ll cost around $130. There are better places around L.A that will do the same job for $100, Frame 2000 just down the street is the place to go for framing.

Paint brushes range from $1 for the sales items up to $20 for fine art. Tons of water colors, oil paint and acrylic to choose from, and from various companies too.

Find temporary tattoos, stencils and poster materials here, alongside every kind of pencil and eraser you can imagine.

I got a couple sets of acrylic paints (Liquitex Basics 24 pack, 2 large tubes of silver and gold and a 5 pack of their Basics colors) some temporary tattoos, a coloring book and brushes for $90.

Brought in a painting long overdue for a frame. John helped us pick out a great frame and setup. He had great advice, was unhurried, and gave us excellent service. Picked up some nice vellum for drafting. Happy to pay for great small businesses like this!
