I rented my new home with Mariya from Life Residential. It was our first time to rent in the Nine Elms and south bank area, and it was definitely the best renting experience we have ever had. Mariya was amazing and so helpful ! She guided us through all the viewing and renting process and gave us lots of help. We were genuinely interested in a property for which they provided consultancy services.

We shared our details, including salary and contract information, and proceeded to the second phase, which involved the reference check process.

Initially, we were informed that the agreement would be for an 18-month term. However, after reviewing our details, the draft agreement—despite being signed—was changed to a 24-month term, which created unfavorable conditions for us.

After waiting 3–4 days without any response, we were informed that the process had been concluded negatively on our behalf and that the holding deposit we paid would not be refunded.

During this process:

- We promptly answered all their questions.
- We provided reliable documents, including an offer letter and an employment contract.
- We submitted all required documentation as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, they did not offer any alternative solutions, such as accepting a guarantor or allowing a shorter contract term than 24 months. Moreover, the property remained listed on their website during this time.

We want to emphasize that we did not withdraw from the process or make the decision to cancel. It was their decision to delay, extend the contract period, and ultimately refuse to proceed, despite the signed agreement.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this brand to anyone.

He was incredibly professional and patient, helping us communicate with the landlord, solving every issue, and even finding backup options when needed. He took us on viewings, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thanks to him, we moved into our new home in just two weeks!
