An absolutely wonderful experience. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We hosted our daughter's 10th birthday here with her friends and they had a perfect setup to keep a group of 10 girls entertained. They were so involved in the painting that the entire group was well behaved for the full 90 minutes of the session. As a parent that alone is worth every penny.
We will definitely be returning for additional events and classes.

Should have done this review a long time ago! My daughter has been going to the children's classes for several years now and she LOVES every minute of it. Miss Lucy is an amazing instructor and creates a calm and inclusive environment for everyone to express their inner artist.

Our daughter loves the classes here! They offer fun classes for her at a great value. The Crystal Lake Montessori school, which she attends, offers an after school art class as well, but the art class at The Studio Art School is a MUCH better value. The teachers are also so kind, patient, and caring with our daughter.

Highly recommend them for art classes.

This place is absolutely incredible! I have gone to at least 4 of the paint parties in the last two months with friends and family - I can't get enough! The staff is absolutely wonderful, and the projects are amazing. I have framed and decorated my apartment with all 4 of the paintings I've done! Friends will visit and think that I bought them from a professional - and it is NOT because of my artistic skills (because I have NONE, ha!), it is because of the incredible and amazing instruction that the artists at The Studio give you. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could - wonderful place to go for a birthday party, work event, or just a night on the town with friends!

I love this place! I have participated many times and have brought people that have been leary of the whole painting thing and have been surprised to how much fun it was. Lucy is super sweet, David has always been very helpful in teaching techniques. He always makes it fun and new. Love it.

A group of friends got together for the Studio's Saturday night painting party. We had a large group of girls who got together for a "girls night out" I didn't have real high expectations as I'm not even good at drawing stick figures, and since this place you can BYOB, I REALLY didn't have high expectations! I didn't think that anybody would be able to tell this buzzed girl how to paint! To my surprise, David was an exceptional teacher! Step by step he helped all of us create this beautiful work of art. I wasn't stressed out trying to paint, it wasn't hard, and it actually looks good! Our group of girls had tons of fun! I recommend this for a girls night out, or for any little night away from home! We will do it again for sure! Thanks for the awesome experience! Can't wait to come back and bring more Art Studio virgins!
