Omg…..I purchased a deep fried double butter pound cake & 2 scoops of banana pudding ice cream ? on a cone, it was all amazing!!! The customer service was exceptional, the owner a Beautiful person with a kind & free hearted spirit!! Definitely will return to this BLACK OWNED BUSINESS! Trying to save my daughter some ‍♀️

Went here with my vegan friend(I'm not). The little shop atmosphere is fantastic, the employees were extremely friendly and made the visit great. We split 2 scoops of vegan Ice Cream( mango and watermelon), these were extremely good to even me, and they were very fairly priced. We also ordered a deep fried vegan pound cake slice. The price of this was $16.00 and to me that was really high for what we received. However..... After taking 1 bite of this thing, possibly one the the best 5 desserts I've had in my life. Now was it worth $16.00... Probably not, but the ice cream I though was cheap. For $16.00 on special occasions I would go get this again. Basing everything all around, the place is a 4.9/5 and a must try vegan or not. I wouldn't feel right giving them only 4 stars. They just missed a perfect 5 for me.

Lawd The BEST CAKE in all of Chicago/ Indiana area! Deep fried and regular pound cake lots of flavors. We had the deep fried churro deep fried peach pound cake with ice cream. 20/10!!!! I also have to add They make you feel like family. I saw them at vegan fest over the weekend and when I say they made me feel like family. I was sufferin from heat exhaustion and they allowed me to sit in their booth. They gave me ice. They gave me pickle juice for electrolytes, and called the medics. I will forever be grateful for Keisha, her staff and her husband for looking out for me , the way that they did. They will always have our support for whatever they do. They are an amazing group of people.

First time ever trying deep fried pound cake and they is NOT disappoint!! Keisha and The atmosphere of the place were beautiful, peaceful, and extremely welcoming. I cant wait to come back for more !

We went there as part of our weekend date trip and the cakes we had were delicious!! Definitely have to try the fried cakes! We had a combination of both and all the flavors we had were GOOD!! I wish she had one closer to us because we’d be regulars for sure!!

I got the deep fried double butter and the black walnut and both are a 10/10 win. Great size, very moist and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and sweet like her cakes. I will be back soon.

I tried the double butter deep fried VEGAN pound cake at Vegandale Chicago and LOOOVVEDDD it! Couldn’t believe I ate the whole thing in less than 3 minutes. It was moist, flavorful, and beyond words—delicious! Everyone I passed asked what it was and I immediately told them as they ran over to purchase the same thing! I can’t wait to visit their Hammond location to try the other vegan pound cakes and ice cream!!! It was a cake!!!!
