I have attended experiences offered by Open Scene, and I am pleasently surprised each time. Everyone there is always genuinely excited to share what they do. The passion and creativity behind their productions shine through every detail. I especially love the multilingual aspect; it makes the whole experience feel inclusive, bringing people from different backgrounds together. This organization cares deeply about the community and about giving audiences something meaningful and memorable. If you’re looking for a cultural experience in Central Florida that feels both inviting and inspiring, I recommend them!

The open scene event I went to was informative, entertaining, enlightening, and most of all, welcoming. I have no French, Haitian or Guadalupe descent, but the event I went to was so powerful that it made me feel more connected to the people in my community and in turn, the rest of the broader world.

They had amazing writers speak at the event and a wonderful historian and painter too. Though I knew little of the cultures, I didn’t feel lost, they kept the complexity of the subject, but made it possible for anyone to understand. Broaden your horizons! Go to an open scene event!

I found Open Scene on social media over a year ago and since then I have been attending to all their events starting from Puerperio which is a play by actresses from Chile the 31st of March of 2023 to which Open Scene should be able to confirm.

I was instantly hooked not only by how amazing the play was but how educative as well and how at the end of the play the team of Puerperio, O.S. and the audience (including myself) were sharing our thoughts in a safe space provided by Open Scene and creating a fun and enriching dynamic.

I am extremely confused while reading the other comments for many reasons. One is that anyone from Orlando that has been to the Downtown area knows that there are parking lots, parking buildings and street parking anywhere. I have never had trouble when it comes to where to park. The parking prices are standard compared to other parking sites in the area. I have been to these events driving, getting an uber, driving a scotter, getting a ride from the amazing people I have met at these events. Because I must say! Not only this organization is doing it's best to bring awareness to my culture as a Latin person but also as a woman, as an immigrant and as a person who was looking very hard to find a place with who dedicated their time and PASSION to do events related to the Latinx community in Orlando, Florida.

I have also been amazed with how not only hispanic people but also people from different heritage have been to these events and it has been fun and enriching to talk to them about what they like about my community.

I am profoundly grateful with all the effort that has been put to create/bring such events and I am excited for the events that will come up!

I wish I had more pictures and videos but the truth is that as soon as I got to these events last year, I was already part of the engaging community present.

This organization is great! I love they way the empower artist to keep pushing boundaries, their events are gorgeous and serene. You can tell the organizers really care for the arts to stay alive

After going to their events for the first time, I never want to miss anything this organization puts out. They are bringing something important and unique to Orlando. At their events I have been introduced to new aspects of other cultures that I never knew about, and to the diverse experiences of Latin people specifically. I think it is so beautiful that they bring the opportunity to learn, enjoy, and connect with other people through art.

Great organization! Me and my daughters have attended some events and we have enjoyed them. As a cultural performer artist I am happy that Open Scena is a space to learn, enjoy, and connect with other people through art and culture.
