The UVU Museum of Art at Lakemount - Orem, Utah

What a wonderful museum! It is free to enjoy. They also host crafts in the pool house on certain dates. I added probably the worst photo ever of the events plan for 2025. Take your kiddos or just go enjoy it yourself or with a significant other.

I took my child and we had a great time browsing the mansion as well as partake in crafts.

Just over a year old that UVU had it open. It's such a beautiful place, the grounds, and of course paintings/art work! Staff greeted us and made sure where to go. They have a small gift shop with cool things. Recommend coming here to just see a beautiful place and with beautiful art! Will be coming here more. UVU just has amazing things!

This gorgeous estate recently opened as the UVU museum of art. My sister and I attended the very first exhibition! Not only is the home a gorgeous work of art itself, but the art on the walls only adds to the experience! We saw several different types of art and spent the entire time in awe. The story behind this place is definitely one to ask the front desk about! Overall this museum is a hidden gem that I hope gets more attention!

#TheUVUMuseumOfArt at Lakemount in Orem, Utah is Great venue to see Art. A converted spacious Home donated by the Bastian Family, it retains some of the house feeling, but also creates natural gallery display space. There is on display some of the art and furnishings from the original family. But then shows new and rotating art displays. For opening events there is kitchen space to share food and mingling. There is a gift shop just in the front entrance. Parking is on the backside so you have to walk around the building to get to the front entrance. There is a drop off space at the front entrance. The outside grounds are well taken care of and are beautiful. I’m glad Utah Valley University has this great space to display art.

이곳은 예전에는 대저택이었지만 지금은 대학 미술관으로 활용되고 있습니다. 각각의 특색이 있는 방들을 거니는 재미도 있습니다.

제가 방문했을 당시 두 가지 특별전이 있었습니다. 하나는 Jeanne Leighton Lundberg Clarke의 화려하고 다채로운 그림 전시였습니다. 명절 때 잔치상을 연상시킬만큼 풍요로오운 색깔이었습니다.

또 하나는 미국 illustrator이자 designer인 Kent Christensen의 작품 전시였습니다. 모든 것이 그의 인생 여정을 보여주는 작품들로 구성되었습니다. 대부분의 작품들이 세상 풍자 혹은 일상의 소소한 발견을 전달해 주었습니다. 후기 작품들은 대중적인 팝아트처럼 친근한 일상 소재를 그림 속 주인공으로 삼아 그려졌습니다.

I've always wanted to tour this amazing estate! So cool to have a museum now. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were there while they had an art project in pool house. We had a blast. Small room downstairs and a couple galleries upstairs. Beautiful estate and some fun art.

We even got notebooks and stickers. We will be back.

Very beautiful, well kept! The art is lovely, I would just say it can be a slight bit confusing navigating due to certain rooms/areas being closed off but I highly recommend!!

An absolute delight to visit such a breathtaking place. Especially since it is free! The art was phenomenal and I loved seeing student work. The estate itself is the star of the show. Every detail. They just do not make many timeless homes like this—especially in our area. Driving up to the property puts me in awe and the feeling continued throughout the home and grounds. The pictures are incapable of capturing the fullness of the experience, so be sure to plan a visit. It warms my heart to know of the generosity that made this experience possible—the donation of the home to UVU (and it helps to be an alumni ?). This is such a treasure for locals to visit. I will be coming back often and with friends!
