I had a new dress shirt tailored here, and the fit is incredible! The alterations and stitching seem to be of high quality. Both of the women who work in the front of the shop were very kind and helpful on each of my visits. When I realized I had made a scheduling mistake and would need the shirt sooner than I asked for, they were able to get the work done for me by the next day. I'm very happy with the results and will absolutely be coming back!

Art Alterations did a wonderful job on this dress. The dress was too long and the top was too big. The total was $138 and I think the price was fair for the quality of their work. They removed boning from the corset, brought the waist in, and shortened the dress while maintaining the train. It took 1 week for this work to be done and fit like a glove the first time. Thank you! Definitely recommend.

Pure artists when it comes to garments - absolutely wonderful. They each worked to make me a beautiful custom addition to a leather top I have not been able to wear. All clients picking up were very happy which is a great sign as well as I spotted some nice clothes being worked on too.

They ruined my bridesmaid dress, do not go here for anything more complicated than a simple hem. When I came in the dress was hanging off me and visibly too big but when I picked it up it was so small it would barely zip. They told me it needed to be let out 2 full inches. Not sure how that happened but I did not grow a full 2 inches from the time they pinned the dress to the next week when I picked it up. They told me there wasn’t enough fabric to let it back out and all they could do was steam it. I had to buy a 2nd dress and start the process all over with a different tailor.

Please do not go here. I've been a repeating customer for 6 months but the past 2 visits has me shocked at how much their service & quality has tanked. It doesn't matter if you're a customer for 6 months, 6 days or 6 minutes - they treat you horribly and don't take responsibility when they make a mistake. Like many other recent reviews, they now take in way too much to the point that you can't breathe or zip up your clothes and then they blame you even though it's clear as day they took in more than they pinned.

I've brought in over 20 pieces of clothes (specifically to take in) and I've never had a problem or had to ask them to fix their work, hence why I kept coming back. But I have never seen a business go downhill so fast and highly recommend not walking into their door.

If you value your things and being treated with dignity and decency, do not bring your clothes or yourself here.
