We went to this store because my son was looking for a martial art weapon to use during his Hwa Rang Do training. The owner was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very patient with an 11 year old kid. She talked to him to understand what he was looking for and let him explore the shop. At the end he decided for a staff and a pair of Nunchaku, but I never seen my son so happy about his choice. Fantastic!

As a martial artist, this place was pretty much heaven to me. It was packed with a vast array of weapons, uniforms, sparring gear, and more. Lynn was also very knowledgeable, and engaged me in pleasant conversation. Will absolutely be coming back!

First time at the store. I went to look for a new sparring helmet and found what I needed. Had a good mix of various inventory but not a huge selection of each type of item. The person who assisted me was very helpful.

I've bought a couple of wax wood spears there, one pair of cotton training slippers, some nice training shoes, and some black cotton training pants that she assured me would loosen up once i washed the. Guess what, they did, and feel great! Friendly, knowledgeable person behind the counter. Prices seem to be reasonable, for a Mom and Pop store.

Excellent selection of products at good prices; top-rate customer service. This was the only business I could find the practice swords I needed for an upcoming class. Other sites with online presence seemed either sketchy (like amazon) or were totally price gouging (again...amazon). Because of inflation and supply-chain issues the prices on the website did not accurately reflect the actual prices of the items in the store. Instead of them just cancelling the order, they communicated with me and explained the issues and needed to add a small upcharge to cover costs; they provided me with options and I respect that kind of communication. They saved me time and still are providing good products at the best prices. I will definitely be using Rising Sun Martial Arts Supply again. We are lucky to have them as a resource in our community.

I was a martial arts instructor from 1982-2000 and always purchased supplies from here. I had not been to this store for almost 20 years, when life took me in a different direction (or I should say the Army did). 2 weeks ago, I stopped in to look at equipment to work with my son. I was surprised that Lynn remembered my full name. That is simply amazing. They always seemed to have what I needed for good prices. I doubt you will find better prices, even on Amazon.
