I inherited the still life of glass with flowers painted in 1861 by Thomas Whittle Snr. Over the years this had darkened due to dust, dirt and smoke particularly to one side. I had previously had another painting cleaned to a high standard by the Fine Art Restoration Company and was very happy to consign this painting for restoration. The lighter colours are now much brighter and the left side has revealed a selection of fruit which was previously hidden. All in a ll a first class restoration during which I was kept fully informed of the progress and processes involved. I can certainly recommend this company.

I inherited a damaged oil painting of my great grandmother Jane Fertel which my parents had carelessly put in the attic. As soon as I had some money I had Fine Art restore it. Talk about invisible mending! There was no indication it had ever been damaged. And they took the old lacquer off and brought up the colour. So now great gran looks great again! Thanks, Fine Art, for a fine job!

We used them to get an antique map restored, and they did an amazing job! The map, which was double-sided, linen on one and paper on the other, was separated into two pieces and restored, and it looks amazing framed on our wall. The customer service was excellent too, they responded to queries quickly and provided updates when asked. Overall an excellent service.

Photograph of two of the items I've had cleaned and restored to perfect condition. Also a 19th century book, a carved ladies fan, a 16th century wooden panel, and a Minton figurine. Many thanks for such expert friendly service. Need to search out more items for restoration.

A large Bidjar carpet suffered extensive water damage. We thought we had lost this lovely family piece. But, no The Fine Art Restoration Company collected it, cleaned it and returned it to us. The communication was excellent, staff helpful and polite, collection and delivery seamless annd paperwork spot on. All in all a quite excellent service. We would heartily recommend.

I have used Fine Art Restoration Company to restore several pieces that I inherited recently. One was an oil painting which was in a terrible condition which I thought would be beyond repair. The other pieces were certificates with photos attached which were also in very poor condition and are 100 years old. I am happy to say that all of these pieces are now hanging proudly on my living room wall and look amazing.
These pieces weren't valuable in a financial sense but are priceless to me as they are part of my family history.
Everyone at Fine Art Restoration was friendly, very helpful and respectful of these pieces. They explained everything clearly and sent regular updates. I felt as if I was entrusting my property to friends.
I would recommend them to anyone who has anything they wish to have restored.

I was delighted with the service, the door to door, careful removal and delivery and most importantly the quality of the restoration. The crack in the hardboard is just about visible but only if you look closely. It has been re-framed and looks fabulous. I am very happy to recommend Fine Art Restoration Co.
